My curiousity and interest in life in other countries, have brought me a bit around during the last couple of years.
After taking the General Certificate in Nuuk (Greenland), I went to Denmark for four months, to attend some art courses at the Holbæk Kunsthøjskole.
In January 2003 I continued further south, and spent six months in Spain attending two different language schools in Salamanca and Alicante.
After one year back home in Nuuk, I once again went to Denmark. This time I stayed for two years, studying to become a Process Designer at the TEKO Center in Herning.
After graduating, I went to Nuuk for a short while, and got started on my knitting book ”Paffequtit – Håndledsvarmere med perler – Beaded wristwarmers”.
The longing for doing creative work, and my interest in languages, set me on further travels. I decided to go to Florence, Italy, where I completed the ”one year study certificate program in jewellery design” (including Italian courses) at the Scuola Lorenzo de’ Medici.
Since February 2008 i have lived in Vienna, Austria, where I have attended an educational-course for gold- and silversmith. After passing the exams in December 2009 I have started working as an independent jewellery artist.
